Cartier at the SIHH 2007
Cartier unveiled its latest timekeeping creations at the 2007 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. This year the event was held in the period of April 16th - April 21st.
Cartier watch models presented at the SIHH 2007 incorporated inventive and creative spirit of the brand's jewelry watchmakers. The timepieces are characterized by their graphically distinctive dials with sophisticated design. The watches are also technically advanced, including the extravagant tourbillon models.
The Cartier Libre collection comprises highly artistic watches featuring wavy shapes, diamonds, and wildly oversized originally-shaped Arabic numerals.

The most distinctive timepiece from the Cartier Paris Private Collection is the Rotonde de Cartier a Grande Complication watch. The timepiece reveals a succession of circular complications that operate together in harmony.
Rotonde de Cartier a Grande Complication timepiece is housed in a round-shaped platinum case, 43.5 mm in diameter, with rounded edges and noble look. Its platinum crown is embellished with a sapphire cabochon. The silvered 18K gold dial of the watch displays a guilloche pattern, rose motif in the center, and Cartier Paris signature. The Rotonde de Cartier is equipped with caliber 9433MC manual winding movement.
The watch has been developed in a limited edition of ten pieces. It comprises impressive complications - a perpetual calendar, a grand tourbillon, a push-piece chronograph and seven-days power reserve. The watch's peculiar features are a new leap year display and a C-shaped polished mirror bridge. The timepiece comes on a hand-sewn full-grain alligator strap in black.

The marvel of the Cartier Libre collection is the Ronde Folle watch. The case of the watch set with round-cut diamonds is created in 18K white-gold. The timepiece features a delicately extravagant look. The round dial with silvered sunray effect and oversized Arabic numerals is framed by a diamond-paved bezel. Above the crystal there is a diamond-paved grille with eccentric waves. The Ronde Folle is powered by a quartz movement. the watch is presented on a white brushed fabric strap. the strap is equipped with an 18k gold Ardillon buckle set with round-cut diamonds.

The Cartier Libre collection also comprises Ronde Excentre watch. The 18K white-gold is set with round-cut diamonds. The dial of the timepiece features a sunray effect. The elongated Roman numerals are united into a starry iridescence. One more eye-catching detail is a diamond ring in an openwork design perforating the dial. In the heart of the timepiece there lies a quartz movement. The overall look of the timepiece is completed by a white brushed fabric bracelet with 18K white gold Ardillon buckle set with diamonds.

Cartier Libre Ronde Perlee is a chronograph watch developed specially for ladies. The case produced from 18K carat white gold is embellished with round-cut diamonds. The timepiece reveals a play of timers and shapes and the decorative polished diamond curves. The edges of the dial sparkle with diamonds. The numerals finely complete the playful rhythm of the timepiece. reliable timekeeping is provided by a quartz movement. The originally designed chronograph push-pieces of the watch are set with a sapphire. The timepiece goes on the same strap as the two models described above.
