Vacheron Constantin Website Gets Gold Award

The year 2007 was highly successful for Vacheron Constantin. At the end of the year, the brand was honored by another mark of distinction - a Gold Award - for its top quality website. The prize has been given as a part of the Davey Awards, a competition held among international companies to be awarded for the remarkable creativity and design of their websites. Over 4,000 companies from around the world were invited to participate in 2007 competition.
The Gold Award became the fourth international distinction in this field received by Vacheron Constantin. The website of the brand is subjected to continuous evolution and among the numerous new features introduced in 2007 there was the inauguration of 'The Hour Lounge'. The brand opened 'The Hour Lounge' as the first watch discussion forum aimed at the general public and those who highly appreciate the brand's timekeeping creations in particular and Haute Horlogerie in general.
Vacheron Constantin also introduced a mini-site specially to mark the launch of the unique Metiers d'Art Les Masques collection. The brand organized an on-line caretaker service for the market of North America.
Having received the award, Marc Guten, International Director of Vacheron Constantin, commented that In less than two years, the brand was honored to receive four prizes for the excellent quality of its website. The awards prove the Vacheron Constantin team has been right in its choice of a dynamic and proactive strategy used for the development of the website. The brand has taken up the challenge of applying the new technologies while maintaining the image of a truly traditional watch manufacturer.
The brand worked on many projects during the past year. The Gold Award prize pays tribute to the effort and hard work fulfilled by the entire team.
