Rare Audemars Piguet Watch to Be Auctioned by Antiquorum
An extremely rare watch produced by Audemars Piguet will be auctioned among other major attractions when Antiquorum auction house hosts its 'Important Collectors' Wristwatches, Pocket Watches and Clocks' auction. The event is scheduled to take place on Sept. 26 in New York.
The Audemars Piguet watch fully named 'Jules Audemars: Tourbillon Repetition Minutes Chronographe,' Ref. 26050PT is expected to arouse great interest of the bidders. The timepiece was produced in 2006. It was initially acquired on July 25, 2007.
The timepiece represents a rare, large-sized men's wristwatch crafted in platinum. The Audemars Piguet watch is special for providing the minute-repeater function. It displays a visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, round button chronograph and register. The exclusive timekeeping creation's pre-estimated price is in the range of 200,000-300,000 dollars.
The Antiquorum auction will also feature other interesting watch models from such prestigious and highly-demanded watch producers as Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The auction is to be held at Antiquorum USA in the Fuller Building, 595 Madison Ave. It will be organized in two sessions, following the previews in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and finally New York.
