Piaget and Teri Hatcher Co-host Comedy For A Cure
Apr 12, 2007

The Piaget Company, a famed Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand, joined efforts with Teri Hatcher, an award-winning star actress and the TS Alliance to hold Comedy For A Cure 2007. This charity event has been organized six years in a row to raise funds for fighting against Tuberous Sclerosis.

The intimate signature evening of hope and laughter was organized on April 1st at the Music Box theater in Hollywood. The participants of the charity event took part in an intimate VIP cocktail reception followed by a silent auction and then watched a comedy cabaret show.
Teri Hatcher has offered continuous support to Comedy For a Cure.
This year the actress returned as honorary chair. Teri arrested the event's visitors' glances by dazzling in Piaget's 18K White Gold and Limelight diamond ring created in the shape of the heart. Piaget's Magic Gardens earrings in fountain motif were equally worth everyone's meticulous attention. During the silent auction, Teri Hatcher took off her 'Funny Heart' Necklace by Piaget to offer it as a bid for the charity auction.
The event has raised more than $850,000 assigned to support the fight against Tuberous Sclerosis.
Piaget, the Manufacture of luxurious watches and jewelry, located in the heart of the Swiss Jura mountains, was established in 1874. At present day the company, being a part of Richemont, is one of the leading representatives of the luxury industry. Piaget timepieces are entirely hand-crafted in 18K gold and platinum. Fine Piaget ultra-thin movements are used by other prestigious watch companies.
Piaget most famous collections of fine timepieces are Piaget Polo, Piaget Tradition, Piaget Altiplano and Piaget Upstream. Piaget craftsmen give utmost attention to the tiniest detail marked by particular touch of elegance. The brand's jewelers calibrate and adjust the diamond by hand; the engraver chases the bracelet with great precision; the skillful master-watchmaker delicately assembles a movement.
