New Harry Winston Andre Agassi Watch

Sep 12, 2007

The Harry Winston watchmaking company has recently developed a unique Andre Agassi watch. The timepiece will be donated to the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children gala that is presented by Genworth Financial.

The Grand Slam is to take place on Oct. 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event is organized to benefit the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation. The activity of the foundation is aimed at offering support to at-risk under-privileged youth in the Las Vegas community.

Harry Winston's Andre Agassi watch is a part of the brand's new Z4 collection. The timepiece is housed in a really firm Zalium case, as stated by the company's watchmakers. In the heart of the watch there beats a self-winding chronograph movement. The case is provided with sapphire crystal that is anti-reflective on both sides. The Harry Winston Andre Agassi watch boasts water-resistance to 200 meters. The final touch to the entire bold look of the timepiece is added with help of a stylish rubber strap. You will also notice tennis-inspired accents featured on the dial.

The winning bidder for the Harry Winston Andre Agassi watch will be also given two round-trip first-class tickets to Geneva, together with a fine opportunity to enjoy a stay at a five-star hotel, nice dining and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Harry Winston watch manufacturer prior to its grand opening that is to take place in January, 2008.

That is not the first time Harry Winston has produced and donated a unique timepiece in cooperation with Andre Agassi. In 2006 the watchmaking company created a one-of-a-kind watch based on the brand's Ocean Diver timepiece. The details of the timepiece were inspired by Andre Agassi's remarkable tennis career. The timekeeping wonder was presented in the live auction in front of an 8,000-guests audience. Then, the Harry Winston watch was acquired for US 110,000 dollars at the auction.
